Designed and built a Shopify storefront for an independent Australian fashion label launching direct-to-consumer for the first time. The site needed to carry editorial-quality visuals, support multi-currency checkout, and convert at a rate competitive with established fashion DTC brands.

The Challenge

The label had a strong wholesale reputation but zero DTC experience. Their previous website was a basic Shopify debut theme with low-resolution product images. They were losing potential customers to larger brands with more polished digital experiences, despite having a genuinely superior product.

The Solution

We built a fully custom Shopify theme with a full-screen editorial homepage, a collection filtering system that preserved scroll position, and a product page with a sticky add-to-cart bar and integrated size guide. The result was a 3.2% conversion rate in the first month — above the 2.8% fashion DTC benchmark.
