Designed the consumer-facing mobile banking application for a new Australian neobank, covering onboarding, account management, payments, and savings goals. The app launched on iOS and Android simultaneously to 50,000 founding customers.

The Challenge
Competing in a market with well-funded neobanks like Up and Revolut required more than feature parity. The product team identified a gap: existing apps were great for 25-year-olds but alienating for users over 40 who wanted the simplicity of neobanking without feeling like the app was designed for someone else.
The Solution
We designed an adaptive interface with generous touch targets, a simplified home view that surfaced only what mattered today, and a savings goal system visualised through illustrated progress cards. The onboarding flow — fully compliant with AUSTRAC requirements — was completed in under four minutes in testing. App Store rating at launch: 4.7 stars.
